Consultants

Greg Elliott is a Director of Projenco. He is a leading exponent of relationship contracting in Australia and Asia and was one of the first people in Australia to provide relationship facilitation services. Greg is a highly skilled facilitator of group decision-making and team-based processes, to which he brings strong commercial understanding and highly-developed contract management acumen.

He is acknowledged for his ability to assist leaders and teams to employ modern management strategies in a practical way. He carefully and appropriately helps teams to explore improvement opportunities, often provoking 'breakthrough thinking' to identify innovative solutions.

Since entering consulting, Greg’s assignments have ranged from designing and implementing the Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement Process for the Australian Special Air Services Regiment, to facilitating and coaching 'proAlliance’, an integrated project team tasked with the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the $350 million Perth Seawater Desalination Plant. Greg has facilitated relationship-based procurement activities in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Canada, as well as in all states of Australia.

Des Alach is a Director of Projenco. He is a skilled facilitator of relationship contracting establishment and delivery, risk management and value management workshops for government instrumentalities and private industry. Des has considerable experience in establishing integrated relationship contracts, including alliances and assisting them to deliver successful outcomes.

Des combines a sound knowledge of commercial models for various forms of contracting with facilitation skills to assist teams to establish strong and compelling relationships, resulting in the delivery of outstanding results.

Des rose from a graduate engineer in the engineering and construction industry for a large engineering company to lead large projects and businesses as a Company Director, General Manager and Project Director. During this journey, Des acquired expertise in business excellence, and in the training and coaching associated with the delivery of large projects and businesses, using sound relationship-based principles. Des has been a member of Alliance projects and has also facilitated the formation of a number of alliances. As well as consulting, Des has lectured in Project Management at Curtin University, Western Australia.

Erin Broady is a professional trainer and facilitator with a background in designing and implementing health promotion initiatives, behaviour change programs and professional development programs for corporate clients, including large mining companies across Australia and the National Health Service in the UK.

Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement and a Diploma of Education and today has a strong focus on relationship management. She has supported clients as they implement new relationship-based contracting strategies and spent much of 2009 embedded in a multi-national Alliance providing relationship management support to the team.

Erin is experienced in behaviour change coaching with individuals and groups, and is a certified practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® & DISC® (internationally recognised personality/behaviour profiling instruments).

John Clocherty has recently joined Projenco.  He has had significant experience as a supply and contracts professional across all facets of procurement and contract management.  Most of John’s prior roles have focused on strategic sourcing, contract implementation and contract management, with a heavy focus on the resources industry and Defence. 

John also has significant experience in finance and procurement auditing, as well as IT.  More recently with Projenco, John has facilitated client-based supplier evaluations and coordinated and facilitated the submission of major tender proposals.

Rory Innes provides a wide range of training, coaching and facilitation services in the areas of Relationship Contracting, Leadership Development, Executive Development, Performance Management and effective meeting and workshop facilitation. His consulting career is underpinned by over 20 years’ experience in leadership positions with major global companies.  This includes the oil and gas industry, hard rock mining, large civil engineering projects, information technology outsourcing, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).

Rory is an effective and influential facilitator and uses a combination of powerful team development techniques and personal coaching to reduce conflict and align individuals towards common objectives.

He has considerable experience facilitating the selection of partners for major relationship contracting activities. He also has significant team development and leadership coaching experience within this environment and has provided general facilitation services to a number of alliance style arrangements on major projects.

Doug Caldwell is an organisational psychologist who gained considerable experience in the consulting and recruitment industry, having worked for the Chandler Macleod Group for over 25 years.

In his consulting and recruitment roles, Doug’s responsibilities included key account management business development and contract implementation executive and project recruitment culture/climate surveys workshop facilitation with a range of participants from operators through to executive teams; psychological assessment to support selection, career and succession planning outplacement and coaching and development of performance management practices.

In operational management, Doug progressed through roles in State and Regional General Management to Chief Operating Officer, overseeing over 700 staff engaged in 70 offices throughout Australia and New Zealand. During his years in operational management, he gained a reputation for delivering profitable growth, leading process improvement, selecting, developing and retaining high-performing individuals and building successful teams.

With Projenco, Doug has been involved in both coaching proponent teams and in assisting client organisations with the design and development of evaluation workshops.

John McGinniss is a highly experienced facilitator, business adviser and coach/mentor to board members and executives within corporate divisions and business units.

John has delivered assignments over the past 12 years around the world in oil and gas construction projects and production operations, nuclear construction and operations, aerospace manufacturing, and banking.

Recently he designed and facilitated numerous sessions in the UK for the extensive construction programme that is underway in the nuclear waste storage sector.

His expertise includes planning, chairing and facilitating strategic and operational sessions, supply chain engagement forums with contractors and subcontractors, alliance partners, and external stakeholders to improve project delivery and operating outcomes.

In Australia and Europe, he has prepared contracting organisations’ bid teams as they compile major bids, and coached them in effective presentations to enable them to excel in their appearances before rigorous tender evaluation panels.

He is highly experienced in delivering organisational culture development and transformation, having led front-line teams in the banking industry as they changed to meet demanding stakeholder requirements.

 

Support Professionals

Maxine Laurie has recently joined Projenco as a technical editor.  Maxine has a BA (Hons) in History from the University of WA and she has worked as a historian for many years, researching and writing nine commissioned historical works.  The first of these was short-listed the for Premier’s Book Awards and in 2008 she was the overall winner in the Subiaco Historical Awards.  She has also been involved in the production of historical articles, brochures, a Wetlands website and conservation plans.

 

Maxine has edited extensive reports for a group of consultant geophysicists, health and safety advisors, and auditors involved in the oil and gas industry since the early 1980s.  In 2008 she edited a further historical work, which was published in 2009.  In the past she has also edited web pages, honours dissertations, historical articles, conservation plans and brochures.

Sue Baker is a technical editor and writer with a PhD in English and Comparative Literature. She has lectured in the English programme at Murdoch University in Perth, and in the Faculty of Linguistics and Translation at Effat College in Saudi Arabia. Sue has edited academic journals and a number of doctoral theses across a wide range of subjects.

In her capacity as technical editor and writer, Sue has written and edited a variety of technical documents including Project Management Plans, Relationship Contracting Proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Evaluation Documents, Expression of Interest Applications, Tender/Proposal Submissions, Workshop Reports, and Feasibility Studies, and has prepared documents for projects ranging in value from $100,000 to $1 billion.

In writing and assisting with Proposals, Sue liaises with the proposals manager and the team, and prepares writing briefs for the various authors. Sue also writes and edits web content and is responsible for the ongoing editing of Projenco’s website.


 

Administrator

Caroline Baldwin is an integral part of our business and is a key contributor to the smooth business operation we seek to provide. Caroline deals with all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, monthly reporting, presentation of reports to Directors, and general administration duties for Projenco.
