Koolyanobbing Alliance is a fully integrated alliance between Portman Iron Ore Limited and BGC Contracting formed to undertake mining, technical services and mine planning, crushing and screening and train loading at the Koolyanobbing mine site. Koolyanobbing Alliance celebrates its first year of operation in September 2008 and is very proud of the achievements it has reached which include:
- Development of a fully integrated alliance;
- Delivery of Team Development sessions with a focus on achieving a successful alliance to all key personnel;
- Delivery of an Alliance Induction module to all site personnel;
- Preparation of a quarterly Alliance Health Check for review by the Alliance Management Team;
- Development of a Koolyanobbing Alliance Management System (KAMS) which will shortly go live to alliance personnel; and
- Development of a Koolyanobbing Alliance Performance Scorecard (KAPS) which is presented monthly to the Alliance Leadership and the Alliance Management Teams.
Projenco has been assisting Koolyanobbing Alliance since before commencement of the Alliance contract and continues to do so. Services have included delivering workshops and inductions, attendance at Alliance Management Team meetings, consultancy work to assist Koolyanobbing Alliance to develop KAMS and KAPs, and delivering the quarterly Alliance Health Checks and subsequent reports.
