Dyno Nobel / Incitec Pivot Limited is developing a billion dollar ammonium nitrate production plant in Moranbah, Queensland. Dyno Nobel / Incitec has decided this interactive project requires the use of a relationship contracting approach and has appointed an Alliance (Project Aurora) comprising United Group Limited, Bilfinger Berger Services Australia and BGC Contracting to deliver this important facility. Dyno Nobel / Incitec has engaged Projenco to work with both their organisation and the Alliance to develop a relationship contracting approach which allows for interactive work methods to be implemented because of the interrelated scope of services required by both parties.
Projenco has also been appointed by the Alliance to assist with establishing governance structures and coaching and training for the 400 plus people who will be engaged on the project. The project is due to finish at the beginning of 2010 and Projenco has an ongoing role in monitoring the health of the relationship and providing support, as necessary, to keep the relationship strong.
